Who is responsible

Quote and sample requests

When you send a request, we receive the data you enter: name, company, e-mail, phone, country, your message, the part details and any drawings you attach, and how you found us. We use them only to answer you, prepare a quote and carry out the order.

Legal basis: preparing and performing a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). If you contact us on behalf of your employer or another company, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with business customers (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

We need the required fields of the form to send you a quote; without them we cannot handle your request. We do not take automated decisions about you.

Online estimator

The material, dimensions and quantities you enter are sent to our server to calculate a price. They are not linked to your identity and are kept only if you send a request. Your last entry is also saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can pick up where you left off: the “Clear all” button or clearing your browser data removes it.

Statistics and security

We count visits to key pages and actions (for example “estimate calculated”) as anonymous daily totals per language: no cookie, no IP address, nothing that identifies you. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it measures traffic without cookies and without tracking you. To protect the site against abuse, your IP address is used for a few minutes to limit the number of requests, then discarded; an anti-spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may run on the request form. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving it (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Who receives your data

• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — hosting, database, file storage and security.
• Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative (India) — receives and stores the content of your request (with the names of attached files, not the files themselves) and sends us an e-mail notification.
• Our e-mail provider — receives and stores the e-mails you send us.
• Carriers — receive, for an order, the name, company and delivery address.

We have a data processing agreement with the providers that process data on our behalf. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare may process data outside the EU, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. For Web3Forms, the standard contractual clauses apply. On request, we will send you a copy of these safeguards.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted at the latest 2 years after our last contact; the copy held by Web3Forms is erased there automatically after 3 years at the latest. Data linked to an order and its invoice are kept for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires (GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).

Cookies and browser storage

We use no tracking or advertising cookies. The site only stores, on your device, what it needs to work; no consent is needed for this:

• rt_lang (cookie, 1 year) — the language you chose;
• rt-est-v1 (local storage) — your last estimator entry;
• rt-lang-hint (local storage) — you closed the language suggestion.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its use, or receive it in a portable format. You may also object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to us at contact@rubbertailor.com; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the authority of the country where you live or work.
